Enterprise’s Jon Ed Steed fired a two-day 2-under par 142 score to capture medalist honors and help the Wildcats to a second-place team finish at Enterprise’s Wildcat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament started Monday at The Bridges at Tartan Pines then shifted Tuesday to the Enterprise Country Club. A pair of Wiregrass golfers finished third and tied for fourth – Samson’s Coy Ingram and Geneva’s Colton Yarbrough. Ingram had two 73 rounds to finish at 146, a stroke behind Vestavia Hills’ Norris. Yarbrough, who has signed to golf at Enterprise State, had an opening 76 and a second-day 72 to finish with a 148, tying Vestavia Hills’ Gus Darnell for fourth place.

Four golfers tied for ninth with 155 totals, including Enterprise’s Parker Trawick and Elba’s Trace Grantham .
