She graduated from Boston University in 2023 and received dual degrees in journalism and sociology.

Stephannie is a major news junkie. As a student, the newsroom was her “happy place.” She co-produced award-winning content and covered Boston’s historic 2021 mayoral race and 2022 gubernatorial election in Massachusetts. She also doubled as an anchor/producer on BUTV’s daily news show, “The Wire,” and as a stage manager/correspondent on BUTV’s “Good Morning BU.” When Stephannie wasn’t in front of the camera, she handled operations for BUTV as general manager.

Stephannie is originally from Maryland and has also covered news in her home state, the nation’s capital and Virginia as an Emma Bowen Foundation fellow. She is eager to kick off her career in the Rochester-Finger Lakes region. Feel free to DM Steph on social media or send her an email at [email protected] with any story ideas .
