The puppy was found by the city of San Antonio’s animal care services last week while officers were responding to a call about “several animals living in unsanitary conditions,” the department wrote on its Facebook page. As city staff started removing the pets from the site, a San Antonio Police Department officer recognized Frida from a stolen pet report, believing that the puppy matched the description of a pug taken from a nearby home weeks ago.Animal care services informed the pug’s owner, identified as Miss O, that the department had found her pet “safe and sound!”
