Store clerk was killed in a robbery in northeast Houston, police report
OnScene TVHouston police confirmed that a person was fatally shot about 8 a.m. at 6566 Homestead.
According to OnScene TV, the victim was a clerk at the Valero gas station located at the address. The clerk was reportedly killed during a robbery. " was so quiet, he was the quiet one. I never saw him get into conflict with anybody, never saw him have short patience," Shakora Sharp, a regular customer at the shop, told OnScene TV.
"It's just heartbreaking to have to go through this, and I know his coworkers, everybody's hurt, even the whole neighborhood because we're so family-oriented," Sharp said.
