'Succession' Will End With Upcoming Season 4, Says Creator

It's time for a blood sacrifice: Succession's upcoming season will be its last.

“I’ve never thought this could go on forever. The end has always been kind of present in my mind. From Season 2, I’ve been trying to think: Is it the next one, or the one after that, or is it the one after that?” Armstrong toldof his decision to end the show. “We could do a couple of short seasons, or two more seasons. Or we could go on for ages and turn the show into something rather different, and be a more rangy, freewheeling kind of fun show, where there would be good weeks and bad weeks.
