Tucson (9-8) loses to Northern Arizona 49-30 on Saturday night after falling in an early hole.

Arizona Daily Star The Tucson Sugar Skulls fell behind by 20 points in the first half and couldn't climb back in a 49-30 loss at Northern Arizona in the Indoor Football League Western Conference semifinals on Saturday night in Prescott Valley.

The Wranglers, who beat Tucson in three of four games this year, took leads of 8-0, 22-6 and 29-9 in the first half, before going up 35-24 at halftime after the Sugar Skulls had cut the lead to 32-24 before 2,600 fans at the Findlay Toyota Center.
