Gunn is writing and directing 2025's Superman: Legacy, the movie that will not only reboot the Man of Steel and his supporting cast but will also be the first film in the new DC Universe. Henry Cavill leaves the cape behind in favor of a younger actor taking on the Superman role in the DC Universe.
