The families and friends of the two young men killed in a San Marcos shooting last week said they will be remembered as caring members of their community who were active in sports and close to their families.
Investigators have shared few details about the homicides, and offered no information on a suspect. “The Knight Football Family is saddened to learn of the passing of our beloved Nick Tiefer,” read a tweet from the San Marcos football program’s Twitter account. “Nick played the game the way it is supposed to be played, with unrelenting passion and enthusiasm. Our prayers are with the Tiefer family.”
