Police said the man barricaded himself inside with his 1-year-old twin babies for almost six hours after he reportedly hit their mother in the face with his fists and a pistol.
Police were heard yelling at a man, telling him to bring his babies outside, before an hourslong SWAT standoff ended in north Houston.

That's when ABC13 crews heard a loud bang and saw the door bust open.
