The victim of a vicious dog attack was at the side of San Antonio councilwoman Marina Aldarete Gavito as she announced plan for stricter city-wide policy.
SAPD says 31-year-old Daymein Garcia has been arrested and faces charges of serious bodily injury to the elderly. Garcia is currently in custody at the Travis County jail and awaits extradition to Bexar County jail.On Jan. 27, an 81-year-old man was seen on security camera footage being approached by suspects as he was riding an escalator at a North Star Mall Dillard’s. Garcia was then seen throwing the man down the metal steps.
Police said the man walked into a dressing room he thought was empty until he realized someone was in there and left the dressing room. A girl who was inside the dressing room found her mother and shared what had happened. Afterwards the man was tracked down and the assault on the escalator unfolded.
