Updated: A 47-year-old man has been arrested as a suspect, police announced in a 6:24 p.m. tweet, and he is being held on investigation of first-degree murder.
The stabbing happened in the 1600 block of East Colfax Avenue, according to a 2:59 a.m. Tuesday tweet.
Police announced on Twitter later Tuesday that the victim, a man, had been pronounced deceased and a homicide investigation is underway. A 47-year-old man has been arrested as a suspect, police announced in a 6:24 p.m. tweet, and he is being held on investigation of first-degree murder. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner will release the man’s identity after family has been notified. Police did not release information on a suspect on Tuesday.
