Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of 41-year-old Bradley Davis. He is charged with murder in the Aug. 8 slaying of Frederick Douglas Berry Jr., also 41.
East Precinct officers arrived on the scene to find Berry unresponsive. He was taken to UAB Hospital where he pronounced at 4:57 a.m.
Investigators at the time said Berry was riding his bike when the gunman approached him and opened fire.
