A woman is in custody after leading Houston police officers on a chase Wednesday while a child was in the backseat, authorities said.
According to police, a Houston Police Department patrol vehicle was traveling inbound on Katy Freeway near Taylor when a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed nearly struck him.
Other officers assisted in chasing the car down and were able to stop the vehicle off Fannin and 59, investigators said. Police said a female driver eventually surrendered to officers.Police said the woman is was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and felony evasion.Copyright 2022 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.
