According to a press release from the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office, McKnight allegedly shot a man in the head while he was sleeping in bed. The bullet entered the right side of the victim's face, went through his head in a straight line and slightly below his eyes, and exited on the left side of his face, according to the D.A.Judge Sonya McKnight was involved in February 10th shootingThe Cumberland County District Attorney is investigating the case due to conflicts of interest within the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office and the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.
She is currently being processed at the Dauphin County Central Booking Center, and has been given a bail of $300,000.A preliminary hearing is set for February 26th, 2024.
