Coles guided Hanna to a 21-1 regular season and into the 5A state tournament

Paul Chaplin | Special to PennLiveThe Pa. Sports Writers announced Pennsylvania’s All-State girls basketball teams on Friday, and several District 3 standouts were recognized.

Susquehanna Township senior Schuyler Coles, who posted 18.8 points per game in guiding Hanna to the PIAA 5A Tournament, is the lone representative from the Mid-Penn Conference.Joining Coles on the 5A team, chosen by sports writers and other media members across the state, were third-team selections Faith Walker of West York, Grace Reedy of Exeter and York Suburban’s Janay Rissmiller, who guided the Trojans to a District 3 championship.

Former Cedar Cliff standout Olivia Jones, named 6A Player of the Year in ‘23, earned a second-team spot at 3A following her first season at Westtown. Jones averaged 10 points, helping the Moose claim a third straight Pa.
