The small-screen adaptation of 'System Shock' has been handed to Greg Russo, the screenwriter of 2021’s 'Mortal Kombat' for New Line Cinema

Ahead of its imminent launch in 2022, Binge.com–which aims to become a “Netflix for gaming shows”–has named the director for its most anticipated upcoming series, and it’s taking talent from another huge live-action video game adaptation to realize its vision.has been handed to Greg Russo, the screenwriter of 2021’sfor New Line Cinema. Not only will he write the exclusive show, but he’ll also be making his directorial debut by showcasing the story of Citadel Station’s descent into chaos.
Russo said: “I’m honored to have the opportunity to work alongside the fantastic team at Binge and Nightdive Studios to bring the iconicfranchise to life.
