The free event will be held 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Organizers said the free event will include food, a resource fair and entertainment for active duty, Guard and Reserve members, veterans and their families. Throughout the year, Penn State football ticket holders can donate their tickets to “Seats for Service members,” and the public can purchase tickets for service members and their families.

Any service member, veteran and their families who have already purchased tickets for the Oct. 28 game against Indiana are also invited to attend the program tailgate at the Bryce Jordan Center and can email “We want to thank our service members and their families for their service to our country and let them know that Walmart and Sam’s Club care. We are proud to be a large employer of veterans and their family members and are honored to again sponsor and serve at this event.,” said Mike Keller, vice president of Walmart transportation.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
