Two teens in a stolen car rammed into an NYPD cop after he tried to stop them in Brooklyn Thursday night — sending the officer flying onto the vehicle’s hood, cops said.
Police were responding to a call of a stolen vehicle on Foster Avenue near East 29th Street in Flatbush around 7:45 p.m. when they spotted a Honda Accord – with two boys, 15 and 16 inside – matching the description, police said. As cops tried to pull over the Honda, one of the officers got out of his marked cruiser, authorities said. The officer suffered a foot injury and was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspects abandoned the Honda and ran off – but cops caught up to them a short time later and they were arrested, cops said.
