Some Tesla models are having seat belt issues in which the front-row belts can detach.
The company has issued a voluntary recall of nearly 16,000 Model S and Model X vehicles from 2021 to 2023 to"inspect and ensure" that the cars have properly working front-row seat belts.
These seat belts had been disconnected from the anchor as part of a necessary repair to the vehicles, but the subsequent reconnection may have been faulty, resulting in the recall. In March, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened an investigation into Tesla's seat belts due to anchoring issues.Besides the seat belt issues, Tesla is also recalling more than 1,300 2023 Model S, Model X and Model Y vehicles due to camera issues.
