None of that mattered. The second-seeded Aggies ran roughshod over sixth-seeded Vanderbilt 87-75 in the semifinals to advance to their third SEC tournament title game in program history. The Aggies face top-seeded Alabama at noon Sunday in the title game. This season the 18th-ranked Aggies are comfortably in the NCAA postseason for the first time since 2018, and perhaps could better their seeding with an upset of Alabama on Sunday.
