Authorities on Thursday cleared a bomb threat at Kyle Field after evacuating the stadium and the neighboring Bright Football Complex.
The university issued a notice on the threat at 1:25 p.m., asking people to avoid the area. Police evacuated Kyle Field and the adjoining football complex as a precaution, school officials said.Texas A&M University Police managed the search of the buildings with the help of three K-9s, the College Station Bomb Unit, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
