A Texas State student has raised enough money to adopt a 3-month-old baby found abandoned in a trash pile in Haiti and covered in fire ants.
Jimmy Amisial, the Texas college student trying to adopt a child he found abandoned in the trash, has hit his GoFundMe goal.in a trash pile in Haiti and covered in fire ants.in July to raise $60,000 to pay for the costly adoption, but has received over $167,000. The extra money will be given to local orphanages in Haiti and will go toward the child's future and to help pay for Amisial's college expenses.
"It hasn’t been easy, but it’s a blessing," Amisial wrote on the GoFundMe page."One thing I know is that you can never go wrong when you choose love." “I was looking at the precious living soul, just crying, and my heart dropped to my throat,” Amisial said last month.
