Trump also picked up support from Rep. Tony Gonzales, who wrote on Twitter that he "[looks] forward to President Trump once again righting the ship." This all comes as Republicans grapple with their performance in the midterm elections. They expected to win big, but likely won control of the House by only a few seats and failed to seize control of the Senate.
