A St. Cloud, Minnesota, resident won the last remaining $5 million prize in a Texas scratch-off game.
KRISTI NXI/The JournalA Minnesota resident proved just that when winning a $5 million prize in a scratch-ticket game. The Minnesotan purchased the winning ticket from the Kwik Trip Food Store at 5700 S. Flores St. The prize was the last of four top prizes that were part of the game"$200 million Cash Blowout!"
The game offers more than $238.4 million in total prizes, with the overall odds of winning a prize at 1 in 3.38, including break-even prizes, Texas Lottery wrote in a news release. The odds of winning the top prize was approximately 1 in 1.5 million. The top prize remaining in the game is $10,000, with about 33 tickets with that prize remaining.
