Disu spent the rest of that night on the sideline with a walking boot on his injured left foot. While Disu rested and rehabbed Saturday in hopes of playing Sunday afternoon, the team ultimately decided to rule him out about two hours before the 4:05 p.m. tip against the Hurricanes. But amid his 28-point, 10-board onslaught against the Nittany Lions, Disu suffered that left foot injury. It wasn’t until the next day that Disu realized it could be serious.
