Texas woman survives attacks from snake, hawk after snake 'fell from the sky'
"I can’t say I know how it feels to die because I’m still alive, but I really think I got close," said Peggy Jones.
"All I could remember thinking [was] I don’t want to die here, I can’t get rid of the snake, Jesus help me," said Jones. "It was horrifying. It’s almost like it wasn’t really happening, but it was happening." "She wasn’t speaking English," said Wendell. "She was screaming and crying, trying to talk, but I couldn’t understand anything she said. The first words I heard were, a snake fell out of the air. So, I [was] thinking yes, you are hysterical."
