The surprisingly small upgrade to a regular ticket will get you a huge perk.
The difference with Super Nintendo World is that the add-on is for the land only, not the Mario Kart ride. That attraction blends virtual reality with an immersive physical environment; you’re wearing VR goggles and playing the Mario Kart game you likely grew up playing, but you’re riding through real scenes the characters are projected against. The experience is even better than it sounds, even if you haven’t played since you were a kid.
On preview days, the ride has been posting anywhere from one- to four-hour waits — so while you don’t get guaranteed line skipping with early entry, you do get access to the queue before the land opens to the general public, which is essentially the same thing. It’s your best bet for riding the ride twice in one visit.
