Nora Wood, adoption-event coordinator for, a New York-based all-volunteer cat rescue and nonprofit with foster homes throughout the five boroughs, told us it’s the “best catnip toy” because it’s the “perfect shape” for cats to sniff, snuggle, and kick, and it’s better than “lots of crap catnip out there.” We’ve had cats with very different interests and personalities, and all of them have gnawed on the banana until it’s covered in drool.
