Looking for something new to watch this month? There are always new shows coming to Peacock across a variety of genres, from crime thrillers to comedies. For example, you can currently check out shows like Twisted Metal, Killing It, and Based on a True Story. This month, John Wick fans will be clamoring to check out The Continental, an exciting prequel series that delves into the early life and career of hotel owner Winston Scott.
The crime drama covers real events like the Winter of Discontent and the American Mafi,a but with its own unique, fictional twist. Mel Gibson also stars as Cormac, the man running the hotel in New York through the 1970s. The Continental is a short, three-part special event, and while it doesn’t feature Keanu Reeves’ title character, it’s a must-watch for fans of the franchise.
Twisted Metal has an impressive supporting cast as well, including Thomas Haden Church , Richard Cabral , Neve Campbell , and Saturday Night Live cast member Chloe Fineman. Revealing that he himself struggles to find happiness and has been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, Wilson discovers that happiness is, in large part, a matter of perspective. He sets out to find personal bliss and takes viewers on a joyous journey along with him.
