Since reading Elena Ferrante’s stunning Neapolitan novels , I’ve been eagerly waiting to see what she does next, and I haven’t been disappointed. Ferrante’s latest stellar novel,, takes us back to 1990s Naples where a 12-year-old Giovanna learns that the grown-ups in her life have been lying to her, throwing her life into chaos.
