One of the things that I was really struck by when I was down talking with the people who were doing the real hard work, really on the front lines of this, almost all the people that I talked to were members of tribes who have been on this land thousands of years, and they were doing some of the sort of hardest, most grueling work, but they really seem to be motivated by a genuine sense of purpose.
