The brothers have experienced their share of recent hardships, with the duo previously making the decision to step away from constant video uploads, explaining that it was impacting their mental health. At the time, they acknowledged how their schedule sometimes prevented them from spending time with their family, and they both needed a moment to grieve the loss of their father.
Prior to releasing the video, Grayson and Ethan had discussed the project's personal importance on Twitter. "I’m proud of my family, our crew, of Ethan, and of myself," Grayson. "Our goal with this documentary was to help others but while shooting to achieve that I’ve done something for myself that is going to help me forever. I love you guys and I can’t wait to share this documentary with you all.
