The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be part of Australia’s bushfire recovery tour

Their royal visit, which aims to raise funds for volunteer firefighters and survivors, will most likely take place in April. Australia’s fires were the worst the country has ever experienced, with more than 15 million acres burnt and nearly half a billion animal killed. The royal family has already shown their support to the country - the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a statement at the time, in which they said they were 'shocked and deeply saddened' by the crisis in a post shared via the official Kensington Royal Instagram account.
