“Cherry comes to the family wide-eyed and wants to be welcomed with open arms, but Laura suspects she’s not all that she seems,” the book’s synopsis reads. “When tragedy strikes, an lie is told. It is an act of desperation, but the fall-out will change their lives forever.” The series is produced by Imaginarium Productions and Amazon MGM Studios. The book’s author will also serve as the executive producer, along with Jonathan Cavendish, Wright, Will Tennant, Phil Robertson, John Zois, Dave Clarke, and Gabbie Asher.
