Turner, the father of two daughters, was announced as “The Golden Bachelor,” a new series in the Bachelor franchise that includes “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise.”Turner was married to his wife, Toni, for 43 years. She died in 2017 just six weeks after retiring. Turner said he believes she supports him in this latest venture.The cast includes Susan, 66, who is listed as a “wedding officiant” from Aston, Delaware County, Pa.
