When I got married, I didn’t listen to any of this. I put all of my trust and empowerment into my husband. He made the money and I stayed at home because we mutually decided that was what we wanted. But what I am saying is it’s possible to start small, really small, and you don’t even have to be consistent. Because having your own money to fall back on in case anything happens — and anything can happen — is insurance. For you.
