Elizabeth Preate Havey is a partner at the law firm of Dilworth Paxson LLP. “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead The Pennsylvania Society and thank our members for their confidence in me,” she said.
She is the first female to lead the organization, which elected her by an unanimous vote during its annual meeting in Harrisburg.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead The Pennsylvania Society and thank our members for their confidence in me,” said Preate Havey, who will serve a two-year term. “I want to particularly thank Ed Sheehan who did just a masterful job, along with our Executive Director Julien Scranton, in successfully navigating the Society through these last two tumultuous years.
She is also active in the community, currently as a governing member of the Pa. Economic Development Financing Authority, Pa. Convention Center Authority, Belmont Charter School Network and the Mid Penn Bank Advisory Board. In addition, she is the chair of the Montgomery County Republican Committee and the secretary of the Pennsylvania Republican Party. She is a member of the Forum of Executive Women and sat on the Merit Selection Panel for Federal Magistrate Judges in 2020.
