The Buckingham Palace team demonstrate their traditional method for Christmas
’s pastry chefs have revealed their recipe for cinnamon star biscuits and have shared a step-by-step tutorial on the official Royal Family Instagram account.
First, a glossy meringue is made. A third of the mixture is set aside as the topping while the remainder is mixed with spices including cinnamon, ground almond, mixed peel and more, to create the tasty biscuit base full of Christmassy flavours. Last but not least is the decoration... The royal pastry chefs opt for a delicate and detailed pattern, but even left plain the biscuits still look festive and tasty.
