Nygma is driven by a desire to prove how smart he is to the world and often includes a series of incredibly puzzling challenges to go along with his crimes. However, no matter how much the Riddler manages to leave almost everyone else stumped, Batman never fails to solve the villain's sinister brain-teasers.
Riddler's Non-Canon Partner Miss Tuesday Could Change His Game In Batman: The Audio Adventures Special #1's story "What Burns When It's Green?" by Heidi Gardner, Dennis McNicholas, and Jacob Edgar, Arkham Asylum is in panic mode after the Riddler causes a commotion among the inmates with a series of riddles that promises puppies, guns, and ice cream. Dr. Jeremiah Arkham calls in Miss Tuesday, the Riddler's assistant to convince Edward to quell the riot.
Riddler's sidekick is prominently featured in the audio drama, Batman: The Audio Adventures, where she begrudgingly assists Riddler's schemes and plots. Miss Tuesday is just as intelligent as the Riddler, earning her the respect of the villain. But she's also quite sarcastic and often calls out Nygma for his outlandish and even cringey nature. That said, Miss Tuesday often gives Riddler good advice and acts as one of the best counsels Riddler's had in any medium.
Riddler and Miss Tuesday Could Be What Joker and Harley Quinn Never Were There's little doubt that Joker and Harley Quinn's relationship was always completely toxic. But Riddler and Miss Tuesday aren't like that. Even with Tuesday's mocking, there's a mutual respect between the two that was never there with Harley and Joker. Miss Tuesday provides support and reality checks for Nygma that could help him temper his more overzealous escapades.
