Jane Wagner's epic play, originally written for Lily Tomlin, is now off Broadway starring Cecily Strong. Directed by Leigh Silverman, the show is a love letter to theater and audiences.

One of Cecily’s most beautiful qualities is that she lets herself truly be vulnerable. And in that there is great humility. The audience feels very connected to her. They come in expecting to laugh, because she is Cecily Strong. But they don't expect to see that kind of vulnerability from her. For Cecily, they inform her. Every audience is different and takes a different ride. Some people are laughing, laughing, laughing right off the bat. Other audiences take longer to warm up.
