Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling historical fiction The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo tells the life story of the titular fictional 79-year-old Hollywood star, all through the lens of her seven marriages.
This is all great news for Netflix's The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo adaptation, since Tigelaar also worked on Little Fires Everywhere, a TikTok sensation turned into a TV series. As for Leslye Headland, her work as showrunner on hit Netflix show Russian Doll makes her an ideal candidate to direct The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo.
Writer Liz Tigelaar also worked as the showrunner on Little Fires Everywhere, which starred Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington.
