That’s the big idea behind HEAVYS, a new pair of headphones designed in conjunction with former Sennheiser true wireless earbuds, and now HEAVYS is launching these new headphones on Kickstarter.
HEAVYS have four dynamic drivers in each earcup and they are strategically located and cover multiple frequency ranges so they can mimic the sound of listening to heavy metal through a big pair of loudspeakers. The tweeters in each earcup are sited perpendicular to the ear and this creates an authentic rock stadium surround sound effect.
The wireless function of the HEAVYS use a choice of codecs including AAC, aptX Adapative and LHDC. The lossless codecs can deliver the most accurate representation of the recording process possible.
