The U.S. is seeing an influx in funding for the transition to electric vehicles

from states, they can get away with paying lower wages, and “right to work” laws make unionization all but impossible. A report from Alabama A&M University titleddetails how this flourishing industry comes at a high price for Black workers in Anniston, Ala. The study anonymously surveyed workers at four manufacturing plants, including a prominent electric vehicle manufacturer.
