The commercial property owner has nearly doubled the rent it charges its tenants, Jefferies says.
Jefferies expects shares of U.K.-focused commercial real-estate stock Life Science REIT to rise by more than 60% over the next 12 months. The investment bank's prediction comes at a time when the global commercial real estate market has seen prices fall sharply over the past year . In the U.K.
line Life Science REIT, which trades as LABS on the London Stock Exchange, invests in a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate in Britain. These properties are then leased to "tenants operating in the life science sector," according to the company. A REIT, or real estate investment trust, is a company that owns and operates property and trades on a stock exchange like an ETF.
