Terri Bryant, who has Parkinson's Disease, just created a brand that'll make you rethink the way you hold all your makeup.
looks nothing like what you'd expect of an eye makeup applicator. The end of its thick yet lightweight handle is punctuated by a sharp outward curve, followed by a bendy and flat plastic hook.
To use it, you simply swipe the front edge of the hook through the pot of liner and align it with your lash line. That big outward curve can lie against the face as a guide while you drag the hook's edge outward to create one continuous line. It's a similar concept to a curved eyeliner brush, but the horizontal edge of the hook lets you apply it from the front rather than from the side with your elbows awkwardly bent outwards.
You can use the top and bottom of it to darken the waterlines, too. Its wide range of uses is hard to explain in so many words, but thankfully you can watch the tool and the brand's other products in action from Bryant's providedWhile Bryant created this line with people with disabilities in mind, but it can truly be used by anyone.
Most people who wear makeup every day probably hold their applicators the same exact way by reflex and never spare a passing thought as to why that is.
