It has a database of local parks in nearly 14,000 cities and towns, providing information about access and acreage. Trust for Public Land determined in an analysis of those cities and towns that 100 million people, including 28 million kids, do not live within 10 minutes walking distance of a park.Plano earned high scores for its playgrounds and basketball hoops .
