'This Was An Ad-lib': Hunger Games Fans Freaking Out Over Rachel Zegler & Katniss' Parallelism

Eagle-eyed fans are freaking out over The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes' trailer and Rachel Zegler's surprising Katniss parallel.

Rachel Zegler's "ad-lib" parallel to Hunger Games protagonist Katniss Everdeen has taken fans by storm following the first trailer for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The prequel film is based on Suzanne Collins' prequel novel that explores pivotal events that set the groundwork for what the games would become in The Hunger Games franchise.

After many quickly noted the similarities to the bow Katniss' takes after her daring trick during the Gamemakers' evaluation in the 2012 film, Zegler herself responded on Twitter, revealing the moments was an ad-libbed nod to the original film. Check out the response below:
