Homecoming at UAA means a number of big sporting events are coming up this weekend. Plus, fall is in full swing with plenty of seasonal events, too.
: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Campbell Creek Science Center, 5600 Science Center Drive
This event coordinated by the Bureau of Land Management is free and open to the public. Attendees can throw a spear with an atlatl, unravel the mysteries of old bones and learn move like a mammoth.HallowQueer Carnival is an event for for queer youths and their families. It includes trunk or treat, games, vendor and a dance party starting at 6 p.m. Then starting at 7 p.m. there will be live music featuring The High Femmes and Village Mutt. Admission is $5.
