This year’s dance will be held from Feb. 17 through Feb. 19 at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, with the 46-hour marathon kicking off at 6 p.m. this Friday. Participants will stay on their feet for the entire duration.
Mini-events are planned for throughout the 46 hours, such as five-minute Line Dance routines held every hour to help dancers stretch, performances or talent shows, appearances from Penn State luminaries like athletes or football coach James Franklin, and recognition of Four Diamond families.
Interested parties who wish to watch the goings-on can catch the livestream through the Thon website.. The final fundraising total will be revealed at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 by the executive committee.
