Those still without power should not expect to have it restored before Monday, the Tribune-Review reported, citing a West Penn Power spokesperson who said that the company has had difficulty accessing downed lines due to high winds and tree debris. Additional crews have been brought in and have been working 16 hours per day, West Penn Power told the Tribune-Review.

High winds hit southwestern Pennsylvania on Friday evening into Saturday, with gusts around 60 mph reported near Latrobe on Friday night, according to the Tribune-Review. There have been multiple reports of homes damaged by falling trees, and a roof torn off by wind, according to the Tribune-Review; Greater Latrobe Senior High School was also forced to cancel weekend performances of the musical “Pippin.”
